This plate block of four 29-cent commemorative postage stamps were issued on April 21, 1993, and originally offered for sale at a Post Office in Washington, DC. The stamps honor former US Secretary of State Acheson. The stamp design was by Christopher Calle. Stamp Venturers, Inc., engraved this stamp through the intaglio process.
