Old American Insurance Co Set of Three Stamps

These three "coin" stamps were issued by the Old American Insurance Company of Kansas City, Missouri, as part of a mail marketing campaign in the 1950s or 1960s. The idea was that one could affix one of the stamps and send it back with remittance to start an insurance policy. The stamps are difficult to find now in any sort of decent condition; obviously, most folks either threw them out or used them.
This set consists of two 25-cent coin stamps - one rose, one purple - and one 10-cent coin stamp printed in black on gold-surfaced paper.
Condition: The 10-cent stamp is in very good condition and has full gum. The 25-cent rose stamp is in very good condition, and has no gum. The 25-cent purple stamp also has no gum and, while having a nice appearance, does have what looks like a bit of glazing (or something shiny) on part of the surface.
All in all, a nice set of hard-to-find collectible poster stamps for your collection.
These stamps were not issued by an official postal agency and are not valid for postage; they are considered to be Cinderella stamps, which is a popular area of stamp collecting.
